Elizabeth Izquierdo

Administrative Assistant

If you call our office during normal business hours, you’ll most likely be greeted by our favorite administrative assistant, Elizabeth (Liz) Izquierdo.

Elizabeth was born in Arecibo Puerto Rico and lived there until the age of six when her family moved to New Jersey for a better life.

Elizabeth has always had a passion for customer service. She initially realized this when she started her first job in high school as a barista at Cooper’s Hospital Café. “I’ve always enjoyed helping people”. After learning how to concoct the perfect cappuccino, Liz decided to take her people skills to a job placement agency. In that role, she was able to use her ability to help others in their search for employment opportunities. After several years she decided it was time for another change of scenery when she stumbled across a job opening at a local construction management company. Construction was always something that interested Liz – so she went for it.

Fast forward two and a half years and Liz is working hard as an administrative assistant at Scungio Borst Construction Management. She loves the industry and especially loves working for a firm that does so much for her community, Camden, NJ. “Phil and Scott are always involved with bettering the Camden community, whether that’s building for the POWER initiative or raising money for Teddy’s Toys at their foundation’s annual charity event.”

Elizabeth’s passion for customer service shows a great deal and is always noticed by her coworkers. “Elizabeth is polite and professional to anyone and everyone that calls or walks into our office. I feel comfortable knowing when she is in the front that everyone will be greeted with a smile and a helpful attitude.” says office manager, Omayra Borrero.

Liz currently lives in Camden, NJ with her son, Eric. On the weekends you can find her spending time with Eric at local baseball games, biking, or just relaxing at home watching movies.
